SMS Check-In
Enable your visitors to check-in simply by sending an SMS to your phone number.
This article will describe to you the way to enable it but before, here is a quick example of the actual behavior of ‘’SMS Check-In’’.
Mr. Wonderful walks into your store and sees your signage displaying the following:
Connect to our Wi-Fi using your phone number and get 15% Off Today!
After signing into your store’s Wi-Fi, Mr. Wonderful immediately receives a text message including the 15% discount.
STEP 1:
1.1 From your dashboard, click on ‘’Engagement’’ in the left-hand side section of the page
1.2 Then click on ‘’Check-in Methods’’ (see image below)
STEP 2:
2.1 Select your preferred language (French, English or Both)
2.2 Select your logo (Upload it from your Settings tab)
2.3 Select your visual layout. If you select ‘’Banner image’’, please make sure to upload your banner image before pressing ‘’Next’’
STEP 3:
3.1 Fill up your ‘’Greeting message’’
3.2 Customize your ‘’Engagement Incentive’’
Then click ‘’Next’’
STEP 4:
4.1 Drag and drop all your desired ‘’Connection Methods’’ from left to right
Then click ‘’Next’’
FYI: When using SMS Check-In, it’s important to have the option ‘’Mobile Number’’ part of your selected ‘’Connection Methods’’. (See image below)
STEP 5:
On this window, you can customize your ‘’color palette’’ and select an ‘’incentive icon type’’.
Then click ‘’Next’’

STEP 6:
6.1 Do not forget to check-box the SMS check-in method. Once checked, the empty little square should now be blue with a ‘’checked’’ sign in it.
6.2 A system-generated phone number also appears in that ‘’Check-in via SMS box.
6.3 Click ‘’Finish’’
STEP 7:
A final confirmation window will pop-up to save your changes. Click ‘’Confirm’’.
